Team Pepper - Team Volleyball Drills. This drill involves 2 hitters, a setter, and everyone else playing defense. This volleyball drill takes place only on one side of the court. The drill starts by the setter setting a hitter. The hitters job is to just stand and swing or tip to the defense.
On-Court Drills. As STACK notes, drills for specific skills also can be used to build team cohesion. For example, a number of serving drills can be used "to pump up your team and get them loud, active and communicating, thus promoting team bonding." One highly recommended drill is called the amoeba.
This volleyball drill needs 5 or 6 blockers on one side of the net with a setter and hitter on the other side. The setter sets the hitter and hitter must hit through or around the blockers. The hitter can't hit over or tip over the blockers. This drill can be great for training hitters to see the block.

This drill is designed to improve your team's serving and help your players come up with clutch serves when the game is on the line. Set up four cones that are 12 inches inside the back line of the court. The cones should be spaced an equal distance apart. Divide your team into two groups and place the groups on opposite ends of the court.
